Itinerary:
Pick up from the hotel. The tour begins with the transfer to the Wari Archaeological Complex, the "Capital of the First Andean Empire" one of the most important legacies of the ancient Wari Empire. During the trip you will visit the artisan workshop, the masters who explain the process of pottery in the town of Quinua, a typical place that has cobblestone streets and tiled roofs that give a peculiar, attractive and cozy appearance that is characterized by being purely pottery. 1 km from Quinua is the Historical Sanctuary of the Pampa de Ayacucho, you will be able to see the scene where the Battle of Ayacucho took place, an event that sealed the Independence of Peru and America. You will also see the Monument of Liberty that represents the 44 m. high obelisk.
Continuing with the tour, you will visit the historic center of Ayacucho, where you can appreciate the baroque style architecture that is characterized by its stone arches that surround the four sides of the main square. You will also visit the Casona Boza y Solís, Casona Cristóbal Castilla y Zamora, among others; the Archaeological Museum known as Hipólito Unanue, the Mirador Acuhcimay, the Chapel of the Monastery of Santa Teresa so you can enjoy the sweets prepared by the mothers of the Discalced Carmelites.
